Meet Nakia Johnson

Nakia is 25 years old, born and raised in Chicago. She ran away from home to Hollywood and has been homeless since 2010. She does not possess a high school diploma or college degree. Ms. Johnson mentioned she worked a seasonal warehouse job in 2016, but has not been employed since. She feels free and safe on the streets with her boyfriend, and is very independent away from her mother. She needs clothes, blankets, a tent, food and hygiene supplies, most of which PHPINLA has provided the following days. Most of all, she would like access to counselling services. Ms. Johnson would like the site to know she’s compassionate and unique.
