Ray Brock is a 55 year old male, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He dropped out of High School in the 11th grade however went to college to obtain a nursing license, unfortunately his family is not supportive of his path, Mr.Brock is a caring person who is willing to do anything such as clean up for food and water. During the week of People Helping People interviewing Mr.Brock was told he was given the opportunity to obtain his identification from the Clarity Resource Centre. Ray describes being homeless as rough, tough, and scary, the hardest thing for Ray to face is dealing with different personalities, everyone is hostile and trying to find a place to sleep. His biggest fear is being alone, he tries to sleep underneath security cameras with his cell phone by his side to help him cope with this fear. In the future his vision is to see those who panhandle come together and invest in a building to get homeless people off of the street. Ray sees a car and a house in his future as well, he desires to become a family man.
