El Vincent is a 38 year old male, born in San Bernadeno and raised in Hollywood. El Vincent obtained his GED and attended Long Beach City major General Ed Studies, he has been homeless for about two months with his last job being one month ago. Mr. Vincent told us that the best thing that happened to him the week of this interview was that God showed him reasons for why things are the way they are. He described being homeless as frustrating, being disrespected and a disappointment, the hardest thing is not being about to close the world out when it closed in on you, and not being able to walk away from situations your still involved in. Home means life is where the heart is, a place to recognize establishment. Mr. Vincent says what makes him feel safe is having no fear, but his biggest fear is fear itself. He is currently looking to better himself and get a job to end his life of homelessness.
