Meet Trevor Egbert

Trevor is 41 years old and currently resides in Venice, CA at the pier. At an early age, his mother kidnapped him from his father and took him to Phoenix, after which one of his mother’s friends reported the kidnapping to local law enforcement, and he was taken back to his father, who the government then deemed to be unfit to care for the child given his addiction problems, and put Trevor up for adoption. His adopting parents Don and Cherly were supporting parents up until the end of high school, after which he turned eighteen and moved out onto the streets. Trevor was always the troubled loner-type child, and explains that while his parents did kick him out at the age of 18, he himself wanted to move out given the secluded nature and location of where his adoptive parents lived (he explains that even the bus system there was terrible).

Trevor moved to Venice in 1996 where he maintained different steady jobs such as café work, working with street vendors, jewelry and clothes sales work, and also worked at a bike shop. His last job was in 2012 working at the market late at night stocking, cleaning, and helping vendors. He quit after become tired of the long-hours and laborious work with his body starting to feel the toll over many years of laborious work.

He now mainly resides on the street and at different car ports which provide some warmth during the winter time.

His best skills are:
Construction Gofer
Sales
